About the church:

The Ermita in Las Rotas is a small intimate Chapel with a beautiful courtyard enclosed by cloisters.

Music plays an important part of our worship, especially the singing before the service which is led by a small and enthusiastic singing group.  Coffee and refreshments are served after the service and this provides an opportunity to chat with friends and newcomers.

A lift can always be arranged for those who have difficulty getting to church.  We have a Bible study group who meet every week and anyone wishing to join them would be made most welcome.

Fund raising to support our Chaplaincy plays an important part in our annual activities and these social events are always well supported.

Address:

Carretera Provincial del Barranc del Monyo, 48

Directions:

From the A6, exit at junction 62, adjacent to N332.
Continue towards Denia on the CV7222.
Cross four roundabouts, straight ahead.

The fifth is preceded by a small triangular traffic-island/flower bed.
Cross the roundabout and take the next turning to the left, signed CV729 to Les Rotes & Les Marines.

At the roundabout, take the second exit, and continue to the sea-front, and another roundabout with a concrete sunburst sculpture.
Turn right, along the sea-front and marina area.

Continue on this road for about 3 kms, until it passes very close to the shore.
Soon after this, you will come to a large set of traffic islands with cacti planted, and a sign to the left to Les Rotes CV 7340.
Continue along this narrow road for about 500m, and you will see to the left the white rectangular cloister walls of the Ermita.

On the nearside end of the walls is an archway, through which there is parking.

From Javea:

Take the CV735 mountain road to Denia.
When you arrive back at sea-level, you will come to the cacti-planted traffic island, as above.
Turn right and continue to the Ermita.
