Good Morning All you lovely people, I hope all is well.

Bishop David is coming all the way to see us for a Confirmation this Friday, 30th November at 4.30pm at La Merced in Calpe. It is a great thing when our Bishop visits, and he is a wonderful and inspiring preacher and pastor.

This has been in our diary for close to a year, and we have 4 fantastic candidates.

I am always very moved when I see and hear Bishop David, and absolutely everyone who has ever witnessed him doing a Confirmation is blown away by the whole experience.

So imagine my surprise when, after asking several times how many people are coming, so that I know how many service booklets to produce – I hear nothing from most of our churches, and those who have replied are only bringing a few people. I was expecting and hoping that every member of every church would love to be here.

Maybe your people are coming, but I just haven’t been told yet.

So, can I ask you to mail all our folk, from every church, and encourage them to come. It really will be the most wonderful experience, and there is very little in our chaplaincy that is more important than having a visit from our Bishop.

While I have you – please don’t forget the Dinner and Dance at the Gran Sol, Calpe on 6th December.
Still not heard from some churches about that either.

Apologies if this sounds a little bit of a rant. Not like me at all.
